Sorry Folks,

But after the way we batted in the first innings I am praying for rain today.

Australia look well set for a big score and then they'll be opening the bowling with Warney.

Let it rain.............

I felt the same way, sufficiently confident in Australia's batsmen to stay in most of the day that I took the kids to the cinema in the morning. And what happens?! Flintoff & Hoggard bowl like satan himself had a poker up their arse and they're all out.

I loved the moment when the Aussie's came back on the field after a short interruption for bad light all wearing their shades! Even though they must suspect the game is slipping away from them they still have a sense of humour.

Great sport, great series, great scott we may win the ashes!

So that's it then..... This whole summer pretty much comes down to a one day match to decide it. We have 98 overs to play (and the forecast is pretty good), two attacking sides, England have a 40 run advantage but have lost a key batsmen. The Aussies have Warney who appears in fine fettle and is never better than when the team is under pressure.

To my mind that sounds pretty even so we're all set for another nailbiter. I'm not sure I can take it!

We can't have another nail bighter, I can't stay up until 4am on a work night (if play is extended to 7pm).

I wish we weren't so happy about losing. Hayden telling Flintoff "well bowled" when he got him out was most un australian.

On a serious note, what a final day ! you just know it won't trickle out to a draw.
